AI roleplay

Practice real conversations

Interviews, meetings, small talk — with an AI that talks back.

You speak out loud. The persona listens, answers in real time, and pushes back with follow-up questions — so the first time you hear yourself answer "tell me about yourself" isn't in the real interview.

Frequently asked questions

What is Talk Whiz?

An AI speaking coach for iPhone. You follow a 21-day program — a daily vocal warmup, an impromptu challenge, and a live roleplay conversation with an AI persona — and every session ends with a scored report: pace in words per minute, filler-word count, clarity, energy, and structure.

How long does a session take?

About five minutes. The warmup takes two minutes, the impromptu challenge one, and the roleplay around five when you have time for it. The program runs 21 days, with graded exams on days 7, 14, and 21.

How does the AI roleplay work?

You talk out loud with an AI persona that listens and answers in real time — a hiring manager for interview practice, a meeting room to speak up in, or everyday small talk. It follows up on what you actually said, then the session is scored like any other.

What exactly gets measured?

Every rep is scored 0–100 overall, plus concrete numbers: words per minute, filler words per session, and percentage scores for clarity, energy, and structure. You also get short written coach notes telling you what to fix next — no vague encouragement.

Is Talk Whiz free?

Talk Whiz is free to download on the App Store, and you can take your baseline test for free. The full 21-day program and unlimited AI roleplay are part of Talk Whiz Premium, a subscription managed through your Apple ID.

Do I have to talk out loud?

Yes — that's the point. Speaking is a motor skill; reading about it doesn't build it. Sessions are designed to be short enough to do quietly in a parked car, a bedroom, or an office with the door closed.

Does Talk Whiz work on iPad?

Talk Whiz is designed for iPhone. It needs a microphone and an internet connection, since your practice is analyzed by AI in real time. Get it on the App Store →
